MULTIPLE PHASE I ESAS FOR A NATIONAL STEEL MANUFACTURING COMPANY

JBR was contracted by a premier national steel company to perform both Phase I and Phase II ESAs at five scrap steel recycling facilities in the Salt Lake City and Denver areas. Potential issues at the sites included petroleum, chlorinated solvents, PCBs, heavy metals, and radiological materials. Coordination and confidentiality were of the utmost importance for these key potential purchases. Based on JBR’s Phase I reports, Phase II investigations were planned and executed to determine the nature and extent of potential contamination. JBR followed up by developing cost estimates for site cleanup on each site to assist our client with purchase price, planning, and seller negotiations.
