Union Telephone and CommNet Cellular Signal Mountain Cellular Tower Project

JBR Environmental Consultants, Inc. (JBR) was asked to prepare an Environmental Assessment (EA) for Union Telephone and CommNet Cellular’s proposed renovation of an existing repeater site location on Signal Mountain into a fully-equipped cellular electronic site. The EA also addressed Greater Teton National Parks’ request that Union Telephone and CommNet Cellular bury an overhead existing power line servicing the site. 

To complete the Project, JBR worked with multiple agencies administering the land – the National Park Service and Greater Teton National Park. JBR examined specific areas of concern, including soils, vegetation, special status species, wildlife, cultural, visual, and recreation access.
