TRUCKEE RIVER LEGACY TRAIL PHASES 2, 3, AND 4

The Town of Truckee is pursuing the design and development of the Legacy Trail, a recreational pedestrian, bike, and equestrian trail located adjacent to the Truckee River. Ultimately, the trail is visioned to be located from Glenshire, through the Town of Truckee to Donner Lake, California, and to North Lake Tahoe along State Route 89. 

JBR Environmental Consultants, Inc. (JBR)  has performed work on trail phases 2, 3 and 4, generally between Glenshire and State Route 89. The trail is located adjacent to the Truckee River. JBR performed biological field surveys for threatened and endangered species and a wetland delineation. JBR also coordinated the cultural resource survey. JBR prepared a California Environmental Quality Act Initial Study/Negative Declaration on Phase 2.
