Amp Resources Stillwater II Geothermal Power Plant UEPA Environmental Statement, Fallon, NV

Amp Resources proposed a 30 MW power plant at a site adjacent to its operating plant northeast of Fallon, Nevada. JBR conducted field surveys for soils, vegetation, wildlife, noxious weeds, and threatened and endangered species, and prepared the Nevada Utility Environmental Protection Act Environmental Statement. JBR evaluated the potential effects of injection on resource production and reservoir conditions; the impacts of geothermal fluid and power plant emissions on air quality; the effects of wastewater streams on surface and shallow groundwater; the impacts of noise from drilling and plant operations; and the effects of construction on cultural resources.
