JBR has provided assistance to AT&T for fiber optic linear projects related to environmental baseline surveys, permitting, and construction monitoring in conjunction with local, state, and federal agencies throughout Nevada.

JBR prepared an Environmental Assessment for Beehive Telephone Company’s proposed installation of an underground fiber optic line.

For this major project, JBR provided multiple environmental services, from conducting water quality monitoring, to preparing environmental permit applications.

In support of Nevada Power Company’s Reid Gardener Power Plant Facilities Expansion Project, JBR biologists conducted presence-or-absence and zone of influence surveys for the presence of the Threatened desert tortoise (Gopherus agassizii) on 560 acres near Moapa, Nevada.

JBR is preparing an Environmental Impact Statement for the Dixie National Forest to document a forest-wide leasing analysis and to disclose the environmental and human effects of oil and gas leasing on lands administered by the largest National Forest in Utah.

JBR has provided and is continuing to provide a wide range of services for this geothermal exploration project, from permitting to environmental surveys to agency coordination.

JBR was contracted to research, augment, streamline and prepare three Title V Operating Permit renewals for the refinery, power plant & tailings and smelter operations.

For this project, JBR oversaw demolition activities at a former gold mill in the Great Basin

JBR provided multiple services, from monitoring to developing a Health and Safety Plan, for this ambitious urban development project.

JBR has been providing air quality services to the Salt Lake City Department of Airports since 1998.

For this project, JBR worked with federal agencies to analyze multiple environmental impacts from Inventoried Roadless Areas to impacts on area streams; analyzed Native American treaty rights; and addressed more than 30,000 public comments.

JBR personnel helped a limestone quarry operator with successful closure (No Further Action) of a former CERCLA quarry that had been backfilled with Cement Kiln Dust and chromium bricks from an off-site Superfund property.

JBR worked closely with corporate and facility professionals to develop and implement compliant SHWMPs for eight coal-fired and seven gas-fired generation facilities located in the Rocky Mountain West.

JBR prepared a Solid and Hazardous Waste Management Plan for an insitu-leach salt mining operation on the Colorado Plateau.

JBR assisted the Town of Truckee in pursuing the design and development of the Legacy Trail, a recreational pedestrian, bike, and equestrian trail located adjacent to the Truckee River.

JBR completed the final Environmental Assessment for a new interchange proposed to connect to Interstate 80 about 12 miles east of Sparks, Nevada

JBR was asked to prepare an Environmental Assessment for Union Telephone and CommNet Cellular’s proposed renovation of an existing repeater site location on Signal Mountain into a fully-equipped cellular electronic site.

For this project, JBR's work included a formal jurisdictional delineation, analysis of potential impacts to threatened and endangered species, water quality, cultural resources, and cumulative impacts. JBR also investigated potential mitigation alternatives for the project, including on-site and off-site alternatives.

JBR prepared an all-encompassing Integrated Contingency Plan for the Utah National Guard Headquarters facility.

JBR provided regulatory compliance services to a Utah electrical power plant, related to uncontrolled releases of contaminants from bottom ash ponds more than 1000 acres large.

JBR conducted a jurisdictional waters of the United States survey, jurisdictional wetlands survey, and seep and spring survey on approximately 25,000 in Nevada's Great Basin.
