Jill Hankins has joined JBR as a wetland scientist, NEPA specialist, and biologist. She specializes in wetlands delineation, mitigation, and Section 404 permitting. She has been listed by the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) as a certified consultant since 1999. She is proficient in streamlining the 404 process to meet project timelines by preparing mitigation plans that are acceptable to both the client and the USACE. She is also certified by the US Fish and Wildlife Service to complete species surveys for Utah prairie dog, southwestern willow flycatcher, and Mexican spotted owl. She has authored numerous BA/BEs and conducted species-specific surveys for sensitive wildlife and plants. She has worked on NEPA projects from initial scoping through drafting the Finding of No Significant Impact for the Forest Service and the Bureau of Land Management.
Jill joins the JBR team of 125 professionals including wildlife biologists, botanists, wetland specialists, air quality specialists, soil scientists, geologists, hydrologists, hydrogeologists, hazardous waste professionals, GIS specialists, and regulatory professionals. She is located in JBR’s St. George, UT office, one of 10 JBR offices serving clients throughout the West.
