AEC Takes JBR Name

Arizona-based Applied Environmental Consultants will now operate as JBR Environmental Consultants, Inc. (JBR). JBR acquired AEC in January, 2010, to increase its geographic reach and expand its air quality services to clients. 

Founded in 1981 by Louis Thanukos, PhD, the Tempe-based office houses more than 15 staff members, including engineers, scientists, and technicians. The group’s main areas of expertise include air quality permitting, source emission testing (including stack testing), and ambient air quality assessment.
