JBR Archaeologist, Linda Naoi Goetz, moderated a session on "Cultural Resource Review at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers" for the 2011 Cultural Resource Summit.

The presentation featured three panelist, Chris Jenkins and Lori Morris from the USACE, and Jenny Dellert from Historical Research Associates.

This session focused on how the Regulatory Branch of the USACE addresses its cultural resource responsibilities under Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), learning about the current status of the renewal of the Nationwide Permits, and how to work more efficiently and effectively with the USACE on projects.
