JBR Environmental Consultants, Inc. Acquires Montana-based Atlatl, Inc.

SANDY, UT—January 25, 2008 – JBR Environmental Consultants, Inc. (JBR) announced today that it has acquired Montana-based Atlatl, Inc. The acquisition was officially completed today. The terms of the merger remain confidential. Atlatl will operate as a Division of JBR.

The acquisition of Atlatl closely follows JBR’s recent acquisition of Oregon-based Environmental Management Services. 

Atlatl, founded in 1994 by Ed Handl, P.E., employs six people in the Butte, Montana office. The firm specializes in environmental services including: underground storage tank management; environmental site assessments, investigations, and remediation; environmental and chemical engineering; and Geoprobe and field laboratory services.
