JBR Environmental Consultants, Inc. Expands Pacific Northwest Presence, Opens Seattle, Washington Office

SANDY, UT—June 15, 2009 – JBR Environmental Consultants, Inc. (JBR) announced today the opening of its new Seattle, Washington office. The office, located in the Lynnwood suburb of Seattle, opened its doors in May but has been operating since March, 2009. The Seattle office, along with JBR’s two offices in Eugene and Medford, Oregon (operating as EMS), will be working together to provide enhanced services to existing and new clients in the Pacific Northwest.

The Seattle offices’ senior scientists specialize in providing environmental services including: site investigation and remediation, environmental due diligence, risk analysis and evaluation, natural resource damage assessment (NRDA) technical support, litigation support, and hydrogeology.

“The opening of JBR’s Seattle office continues our expansion strategy,” said Bob Bayer, Managing Principal of JBR.  “Our expanding footprint creates more opportunities to serve the needs of our clients. In the past two years, JBR has grown from four offices to ten offices in seven states, and doubled our staff to more than 120 employees.”

The Seattle office is managed by senior hydrogeologist, Rebekah Brooks, who has been a Pacific Northwest environmental consultant for twenty years. She has managed a wide range of environmental projects, from site assessments to complex remedial investigations for upland soil and ground water contamination studies. She is also experienced in providing due diligence investigations and litigation/remedial action support under CERCLA, TSCA, MTCA and other state programs.
