Reno's Oxbow Nature Study Area Slowly Recovering from Fire, Floods
Over the past year, JBR has been working with the city of Reno and the Nevada Department of Wildlife with the restoration of the Oxbow Nature Study area, a local park adjacent to the Truckee River. The restoration project included baseline surveys, agency permitting, restoration design, and construction management/oversight was managed by JBR’s Brian Boyd and Matt Setty.

On October 3, 2010 the Reno Gazette Journal featured a JBR wetlands restoration project in Washoe County's Rancho San Rafael Regional Park. JBR received the Elmer H. Anderson Parks Excellence Award for its efforts on this project.
