JBR has over 20 years of experience providing environmental services at more than 30 geothermal exploration, development, and utilization projects in the West. This work has included feasibility studies, initial baseline studies, Operation Plans, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) compliant documents, well permitting, Hydrologic Monitoring Plans, and full permitting for new geothermal power plants and associated transmission lines, pipelines, and access roads. JBR has also provided compliance audits, environmental monitoring, emissions testing, spill control plans (SPCC), and Compliance Inspection Contractor (CIC) and permit amendment services for operating geothermal plants. This experience gives us a solid understanding of the technical and environmental challenges facing the geothermal power industry in the West. Our geothermal clients include Ormat, Magma Energy, Nevada Geothermal Power, Gradient Resources, and U.S. Geothermal.
